Mattlidens gymnasium wishes everyone a great and relaxing holiday!

Autumn holiday 14 - 15.10
 
The IB Graduation is on Friday 27 August
The National CAS-day is on Tuesday 21 September
"Taksvärkki" 13.10
 
Christmas holiday 23.12.2010  - 9.1.2011
   NB: instead of working Friday 7 January we work on Saturday 5 February.
 
Spring term 10.1 - 4.6.2011
Winter holiday 21.2 - 25.2
Easter holiday 22 - 24.4
 
"Vanhojen tanssit" Friday 18.2
End of Year is celebrated with 09 and 10 students on Friday 3 June
The National Graduation is on Saturday 4 June

Taksvärkki in Mattlidens
The new building for the orphanage Corazon Grande in Bolivia is currently being built with money raised by Mattliden students and teachers through Taksvärkki and other events. The total of  7550 e will be enough to complete the building during this spring.

WLAN
The wireless network in our school centre is open for anybody to use since April 22nd. No passwords required. The WLAN has the id espoo_vierailija_avoin and everybody who works here (students and personnel), as well as our visitors, are welcome to use it.

There's a new forum on Matteus. At the Market you can do business: buy and sell books, advertise for tutoring and other useful stuff.

Students

Go to Scotland
Ten students from Mattlidens can get the opportunity to participate in the LEAP exchange (Linked European Awareness Programme) and go to Lockerbie in Scotland for a week in September. This is a joint project between Mattlidens Gymnasium and schools in Poland, Italy, England, Scotland and Norway. The participating students are accomodated in host families but pay for their flight tickets and other travel expences .
